Cora Dance Brooklyn participates in Red Hook Open Studios on October 11 and 12!

Come by our space at 177 Dwight Street, Suite 2R in Red Hook for the following events:

Saturday, Oct 11:

1-4pm - Cora Youth Company Open Rehearsal
CDB CYC/Cora Youth Company Programs provide Cora’s most dedicated and talented students in grades 6–12 an opportunity to study dance more seriously by learning and performing a wide range of works by professional choreographers. Chosen by invitation and open auditions, CYC includes two tiers divided by age and ability. Observe CYC Tier 2 rehearse with Nikki Assanti on restaging “Joy” choreographed by Shannon Hummel.

4-6pm - Registration for our PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN programs

Sunday, Oct 12:

1-4pm - Nikki and the Noise Open Rehearsal
Nikki and the Noise is a Brooklyn-based dance company founded by Nikki Assanti in residence at Cora Dance Brooklyn. Watch Assanti work closely with dancers Shannon Healey and Daniel Morimoto developing her latest work, “Claws of a Stray.”
