Cora Dance Brooklyn (CDB) brings exceptional, professionally led dance education to the Red Hook, Brooklyn community with Modern-based classes for youth ages 7+ and adults—from beginners to professional-level dancers. Classes build strong technical foundations while developing improvisation, dance-making, and performance skills through a scaffolded track designed to support both serious study and recreational enjoyment.
For dedicated, advanced youth dancers ages 12-18, CDB CYC/Cora Youth Company offers audition-based performance opportunities. And through Cora Community Company, community members ages 12+ can participate in collaborative performance-making regardless of age or experience—creating opportunities for everyone to move, make, and perform together.
ACCESS FOR EVERYONE: All CDA classes are PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN, ensuring that financial circumstances never stand between a student and the opportunity to dance.
