Sunday, April 18–Saturday, April 24, 2027: Red Hook Live & CDB Showcase: A week of Performances by Cora Dance!

RED HOOK LIVE: In the spirit of "Rewind" as Cora Dance looks ahead to its 30th Anniversary in 2028, the company proudly revives Red Hook Live, taking place Sunday, April 18–Saturday, April 24, a neighborhood-wide celebration of dance, community, and the vibrant spirit of Red Hook. Originally launched in 2013, this one-of-a-kind festival transformed everyday spaces throughout the neighborhood into stages for dance. Fourteen years later, Cora reimagines the beloved series in the very places where its education programs flourish today, featuring performances by Cora Dance Brooklyn students, faculty, the Professional Company, and special guests at P.S. 15 Patrick F. Daly School, the Red Hook Older Adults Center, the Cora Dance Brooklyn studio, PAVE Academy Charter School, and pop-up performances along the way that once again transform the neighborhood itself into a living stage.

CDB SHOWCASE: The week culminates on Saturday, April 24 at 7:00 PM with the long-awaited return of the Cora Dance Brooklyn Showcase, a joyful celebration bringing together students from CDB's Training, Youth Company, and Community Company Programs alongside performances by the Professional Company. Held in the gymnasium at PAVE Academy Charter School, the Showcase reunites hundreds of dancers, families, and community members for the first time since the pandemic. Following the performance, the celebration continues with a community dance party inspired by Cora's beloved Red Hook Community Prom, welcoming summer and bringing both the 2027 season and Red Hook Live to a festive close. Proceeds from Red Hook Live, the Cora Dance Brooklyn Showcase, and the community dance party directly support Cora Dance's PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN programs in Red Hook.
