The buildout of Cora's new home is nearly done. The journey has been exciting, and humbling. Cora families, friends, friends of friends, neighbors, and volunteers from everywhere came together to help Build a Home for Cora. It has been incredible to see people in our community join us as we venture off into this journey. There are not enough words to express our gratitude. We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy the new space with us.

It's crunch time and we are pulling it all together in the new studio. We could still USE YOUR HELP!
Below is a list of tasks Cora needs to complete BEFORE September 3rd. Email us with your availability if you are interested and would like to help out. WE'LL WORK AROUND YOUR SCHEDULE. -

  • install partitions

  • install desks

  • hang doors

  • stain wood floor

  • seal brick wall

  • lay marley floor

  • move final items from the old space to the new (**need a truck as well)

A celebratory ribbon cutting at 358 Van Brunt Street kicks off the opening of our new home! Come join us for a chance to meet the Cora family, register for classes and see our beautiful new facility.

The ribbon cutting will be followed by a fun, festive Community Gathering beginning at 7pm at Atelier Roquette at 63 Commerce St, Red Hook, Brooklyn, to give the friends of Cora - past, present and future - a chance to have a cocktail, share stories and celebrate in good company as Cora kicks off the season in our new home!!

Admission is FREE to both the ribbon cutting and community gathering. Donations will be happily accepted at the door.
